Accounting Manager (F/M/D)

Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for the entire business accounting function (HGB)
  • You prepare month end reporting and annual financial statements
  • You file VAT returns according to German tax law
  • You take responsibility for preparation of the weekly payment run
  • You participate in the further development of accounting processes
  • You are the point of contact for tax advisors and external auditors
  • You support our Finance Director including HR and Controlling related matters
Qualifications
  • You have 3+ years working experience in Account Receivables and Payables (HGB)
  • You possess a university degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • You have working knowledge in DATEV and Excel (pivot tables, filters, etc.)
  • You have the ability to prioritise, manage expectations and work independently
  • You are able to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company
  • You are fluent in German and English, both orally and written
  • Working remotely is an option with 1-2 present times/ month in Berlin
